An industrial designer who ended up building software.
Senior product designer in Vienna. Industrial design training, a decade in XR, then sole designer of a navigation startup's entire product.
The through-line: take something complex and spatial, and make the next step obvious.
Where the perspective comes from.
Industrial design
Univ. of Applied Arts Vienna. Studios of Hartmut Esslinger (frog design) and Fiona Raby (Dunne & Raby). Ergonomics, materials, and critical, concept-led design.
A decade in XR
From designer to Head of Design at innovation.rocks. AR/VR for Porsche, VW, Audi, Bentley, Zeiss and Miele. Four Red Dot and two iF awards.
Product ownership
Sole product designer at aryve: passenger apps, a 3D authoring platform, a design system and accessibility for a real, shipping product.
Human behaviour at the core.
Before screens I designed physical objects, in the critical-design tradition of Dunne & Raby at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. The constant since 2013 is human-centred design: start from how people behave, then design around them, whether the result is a product, an interface, or a system.

A parallel visual & sonic practice.
I'm also a photographer and colourist (artist portraits, street work, colour grading for shorts and music videos) and a DJ / producer, founding member of the Well Gedacht label. It's where the eye and ear stay sharp.
