What it is
Custom firmware for the M-VAVE FM-1: a sad wavetable synth with a toy-keyboard backing band of depressing beats.
Why
I wanted a synth whose screen has a main character: a blob in a rainy room that shows the sound.
Good for
- Sad chords over a minor-key auto-bass and thirteen depressing beats.
- Seeing a sound: the eyes are the filter, the tears are the delay.
- Trying the firmware before putting it on an FM-1.
